Healing Hearts Play Therapy acknowledges that we live and work on the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek and the lands of the Wahnapitae First Nation. We recognize that Indigenous peoples have been the keepers of the land in what we call Greater Sudbury, Ontario for thousands of years. We would like to say Miigwetch for the ongoing care and stewardship of these lands. We are committed to continuing to learn about the cultures and history of Indigenous peoples. We acknowledge the history of residential schools and other colonial policies that continue to impact Indigenous communities today.

We acknowledge the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850.

We are thankful for being allowed to share the land and resources in this territory.
